PLEASE DO NOT under any circumstances feed Golden Retrievers a grain-free diet! Grain-free dog foods have been a recent trend which has caused Golden Retrievers to get Diet Associated Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM). Also, be wary of dog food brands that include "cheap" grains such as legumes and peas as a main source of protein.

 

Your Golden Retriever will also love organic raw/cooked meat and organic free range (soy free) eggs. For treats, your Golden will love organic frozen or fresh blueberries, organic apples (no core or seeds as they contain arsenic), organic carrots, organic kale, organic broccoli, organic cucumbers, and small pieces of organic banana in moderation.

Please beware to not feed your Golden Retrievers ANYTHING that is not organic. Non organic foods have been sprayed or chemically treated with additives and harmful substances for your dog.
